# Dashboard

Dashboards are the most relevant information management tools to analyze the Key Performance Indicators of a business. It basically consists of charts or other impact metrics that help to summarize the complex information into easily understandable formats.

**There are two ways of creating Dashboards in the ONEWEB platform**

**Using the Widget Dashboard** \
This is the old way of creating Dashboards in the ONEWEB platform. ONEWEB still supports this widget and hence all the existing dashboards can still function on newer versions of ONEWEB

**Using Charts extension in Page Designer** \
From version 4.0.0.19, Page Designer provides the charts extension for ONEWEB. Using this extension users can create dynamic charts or graphs that can be included in the web pages or mobile applications very easily.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.oneweb.tech/oneweb/design-and-develop-oneweb-apps/design-and-develop-ux-ui/ux-ui-components/dashboard.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
